Do you pronounce it with the 'g'(I.e. the right way)
Or 'j' (I.e. the peanut butter way)?
It's like one of those survey questions where there is no wrong answer, except that there is totally a wrong answer. -
Burnie Cameo
aheartsugeon SponsorNews
Very happy that I got to give my Burnie Bobblehead a cameo in a science project. Him, my statue of Connor from AC3, and my life sized cardboard cutout of Aragorn from the Lord of The Rings were featured members in my video. It was a little bit hard to explain why I had a bobblehead of a bronzed statue holding a can of beer and a platypus, but in the end it worked out alright.

Pixel coordinates of an image
aheartsugeon SponsorForum Topic
I am trying to recreate a downloaded image as accurately as possible by transcribing the pixel coordinate location of the original image into an applet
(it's a class project and I have to do it this way). I had brought the image up in Paint and at max zoom with the grid turned on I started writing out the coordinates that the cursor was on, and just moved it along the outline of the image to get the coordinates. However, this is very time consuming, since it is a very aesthetic image with curves and very few straight lines. Because of that, I have to pretty much plot out each pixel individually. Does anyone know of any program where I can trace the outline and have it save all of the coordinates into a matrix or something similar? I don't want to have to go through and write out one point, put it in the program, move the cursor a millimeter, and repeat for the next 8,000 pixels.4 replies

Ideas for Custom PC
aheartsugeon SponsorForum Topic
Its been a while since I made my current PC and I've been a bit out of the loop since then. I know a lot of people on here who consistently keep up high end PCs with the best modern stuff. I'm not looking for that. I'm trying to keep relatively low-cost.
My old one from a couple years ago went like this:
Mobo: ASUS M5A99X EVO
RAM: 3x Crucial Ballistix 4gb 1600MhZ
GPU: GTX 560Ti
CPU: AMD FX 8120 Black
HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Black
3rd party heat sink, PSU, and case are all reusable Cooler Masters that I'll probably be keeping.
I'm looking at getting an almost entirely new setup, just going to be keeping disc drive, hard drive, case, cooler, and power.
Anyone have any recommendations for RAM, MoBo, GPU, CPU, and maybe a smaller SSD? Looking to keep it under $800

Viking Stuff
One of the last things you would expect to see at a UAW hall right off a main highway in the half-plowed snow is a wooden trebuchet that took five people to transport flinging a few pounds of rice a few hundred feet.
