Alright, This year I am picked as an RTX Guardian again and I want to feel great while helping out my fellow community members. My gameplan is to start by controlling my calorie intake (Thanks to MyFitnessPal) and get some cardio/ ab workouts as well. My goal weight is 185 lbs. I started about 2 weeks ago and my start weight was 227 lbs. I have restricted my calories to 1740 cals a day. Looks like a lot of calories but trust me, that is very small compared to what I was eating beforehand. So far till now, I have lost 8-9 lbs just by the new diet and 1 day of good cardio! Still eating the same stuff but no soda at all except for 1 day. Always water with all my meals with the occasional chocolate milk. Starting in a couple days to speed up the weight loss, I will cut the carbs as well and increase the cardio(maybe abs?) as well.
So far my typical day for meals consists of:
1 Bowl of cereal
16 oz of water
1 granola bar (maybe 2 because they're so delicious!)
1 6" Oven Roasted Chicken on Italian (Subway)
16 ox of water
1-2 Chocolate Rice Cakes
1-2 Bologna sandwiches
16oz of water
Sometimes I will rearrange what I eay but keep everything under the calorie goal. Biggest thing that helps is water. LOTS OF WATER. I always try to take in at least 64 oz of water everyday. If you didn't drink a lot of water before, you will need to get acclimated to it so going to bathroom will increase for awhile. If you live with others, try to have them buy healthy low calorie foods to help your goals. It will make things A LOT easier. Unfortunately for me, my family loves to buy donuts, cupcakes, & etc. Just 1 glazed donut it like 250 calories! If you have the will power you can have a light breakfast and lunch and spend the rest of the calories on fast food.
