I'm posting this because Tuesday, October 4, 2016 marks the second year that I've spent without my father, who died of cancer.
His absence from my life is a pain that sort of seems to have scraped a lot away from me. And this week been pretty awful in terms of my mental state.
But it's been a pretty great week in terms of Rooster Teeth. The second episode of Almost Open came out, the podcast on Monday was hilarious and the prop hunt video that AH released made me have to stifle laughter at my work desk.
And really, I guess that's why I'm posting this.
Thank you so much, Rooster Teeth.
My mom told me about a year ago that the only thing that really kept her going that first year was Jimmy Fallon because he was the only person that could make her smile.
And I understood what she meant because that's what Rooster Teeth did and still does.
Even this week, which has been the lowest I've been all year, you guys have put a smile on my face.
It's been a great five years, watching your content and watching your company grow. I hope that I continue to get to see that. And I hope you all remember just how much what you do means to me and to all of us fans.
