All I caught from the nominees were 360 games, and Drunk Tank goes on again to hate the Wii. Why hate the Wii? Just because one of your local stores doesn't sell the game, so the system is horrible? Hey, Tales of Vesperia is impossible to find online anywhere! (unlike NSMBW, which took me little under 10 seconds to find) I guess if I can't find ToV anywhere, that means the 360 is a piece of crap, right? Well, I didn't need that game to tell me that, that's the only console that I don't own for a reason. Coming from people who rely on the internet for the product they sell, I'm certain you guys were on purposely avoiding the fact that it would take you 10 SECONDS to find the game online. There's no way you guys are that retarded, and still manage to make money off of the internet. Next time, leave your local Wal-mart, and try Best Buy or something. It's pretty obvious that you didn't try very hard. I have yet to see NSMBW out of stock up here, most stores still have a wall of it. And still, your "Nintendo refuses to produce two million copies" has yet to be proven. Meanwhile my friends would wait to buy MW2 for their 360s, because we got less that once a month shipments. I had a friend who had to wait two weeks longer, because his crap box red ringed. I guess he didn't win the game of Russian Roulette all 360 owners have to play. It's only four years after the console came out, and it was older than the Wii or PS3, and it is still too much of a piece of crap.
Where's Killzone 2? It's better than ODST in most areas. Generally, what Killzone doesn't have (weird interactive story) you could probably find even better in Cryostasis, a great PC game. That one should definitely be in there, too. I know ODST was good, but you guys are supposed to be representing all video games, not just five 360 first person shooters! (And Uncharted 2, and AC2 [to be fair it's an adventure game]) To be specific, you guys are the first site I've seen to nominate ODST. (and here just to save you guys some work.) The PS3 pulled out Demon Souls and a new Ratchet and Clank game. Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and MadWorld all came out this year. House of the Dead: Over Kill won this years funniest game on Gamespot. Dragon Age for the PC is amazing. The Sims 3 got rated well, but you can ignore that one. No, really, don't add it to any of your lists.
Also, in the podcast, Jack made a comment on how so many Wii owners think their console is the best. Your simple explanation of "people like Wiis" came to and end with a "no it isn't" with just as little support. This is an argument, not just contradiction! (Great Monty Python clip, if you've never seen it, watch it. ) I know you guys are pissed at Nintendo stuff selling out, but it has never been that hard to get a Wii if you've wanted one. If it was that hard, I'm sure I would heard of another mugging. (I never did hear i that guy got another PS3, does anyone know?) But it isn't like that proves that Wii is a horrible console. It's not like we hear much better from you guys being 360 fanboys all of the time, as well. You commented on how horrible of a game Dead Space Extraction was. It's also pretty obvious you haven't played it, so I don't see where you got off deciding how good the game was. I would much sooner stand by the Wii than the 360.
I know I sound angry (because I am) but don't think I hate you guys. In fact, I love you guys. I get to dishwash to make money on Mondays, and I'm always looking for other stuff to listen to. When I turn on my Zune, I immediately turn on the Drunk Tank now. I know Burnie went through the work of playing the PS3 for a month, but I don't think we get to hear enough of that. Even so, you should try it again, go for a week's time with PC games. (Since you seemed so pissed off at the Wii) PC exclusive games. Cryostasis is very much worth playing through, as well, even if not for an exclusive week.
