Two Fridays ago I did something I never thought I'd do. I ran 7+ miles. I did this as the last leg of the Torch Run for the Special Olympics in our area. There was one big ass hill, but after that it wasn't bad...and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. We ran the torch down the middle of the road and people were honking, waving, and filming us the entire time. When we got to the stadium on Ft. Jackson the road was lined with the athletes cheering us on. It absolutely warmed my old cynical heart. I hope you all have an amazing week.
