Ever wanted to try Player Unknown's Battlegrounds --- on your phone? Well, it's about to be a thing, if you live in China, at least.
Mega Chinese developer Tencent, which owns a piece of PUBG, recently announced not one, but TWO mobile Battlegrounds games and unveiled gameplay trailers for each.
Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad said that both are being developed on Unreal Engine 4, with the first one adding "naval battles" and an "arcade feel," while the second seems more similar to the PC game.
One is developed by Tencent TIMI studio while the other is developed by Lightspeed & Quantum Studio. No word yet on a release date.
